Dali - excerpts from the life of a genius.

At Potsdamer Platz, after 50 years of Surrealism, you will find the greatest collection of Dali.
They are staged as spectacularly as he incited himself.
On two floors there is a collection of 450 pieces by the famous artist Salvador Dalí.
Also on display are illustrated books and installations by the Artist, who worked in all artistic disciplines. In addition, documents, historical photographs and film sequences provide insight into his life and environment.

 Haus der Kulturen der Welt

The Transmediale is a festival and year-round project in Berlin that highlights new connections between art, culture and technology. Transmediale 2019 focuses on how feelings are made into objects of technological design and asks what role emotions and empathy play within digital culture. One of the key questions of the upcoming festival is “What moves you?”, referring not only to an emotional response but also to the infrastructures and aesthetics that govern how affect becomes mobilized as a political force today.

The exhibition shows the decade after the fall of the Berlin Wall when Berliners and people from all over the world used newly free spaces, when a unique club culture developed, and when life in the once divided city changed rapidly. High-profile contemporary witnesses such as dj Westbam, the politician Gregor Gysi or the co-founder of the loveparade Danielle de Picciotto and key players of the alternative scene from east and west, exclusively report on their unique experiences in Berlin at that time.

Berlin: A vibrant party city, political hub and symbol of freedom – be a part of it and experience the legendary anarchistic freedom that has influenced Berlin to this day.

For Aquarella Berlin, a parade of several illuminated ships will sail through the centre of the capital, accompanied by a laser show and music.
