The new ONO Spa- an oasis of peace in the middle of Berlin

Imagine if there were a retreat in Berlin where you could escape the turbulent big city life for a moment and experience maximum relaxation in the shortest possible time to gain more efficiency for your everyday life. Ideally, this place should be centrally located and easily accessible, so that you don't have to travel long distances.

We have given this oxymoron a name, because this is exactly what the ONO Spa in our The Mandala Hotel at Potsdamer Platz, which we reopened for you in the summer of 2019 after more than a year of renovation work, combines.

What can you look forward to?

You will still find our 600 sqm spa area on the 11th floor and thus on the top floor of our hotel. This offers you a unique view over the city, which you will not find a second time in a spa area in Berlin. Our tip: start your spa visit with a freshly brewed cup of tea in our ONO Lounge with fireplace and watch the splashing water games and the impressive sunset over the Tiergarten.

You will find further moments of relaxation during our varied sauna infusions. Our panorama saunas, such as a Finnish sauna with 90° and a bio sauna with chromo-light therapy (60°), which, depending on the colour, has a calming, stimulating, regenerating or mood-lifting effect, are at your disposal. There is also a steam bath and a separate sauna for ladies only.

You should also try our Japanese sauna, the Iyashi Dôme, because due to the intensive sweating in the infrared cabin your body flushes out toxins and waste, which strengthens the immune system and stimulates the metabolism.

After taking a sauna, we recommend using our new Kneipp offer, such as the treading pool & the arm and face watering pool. The cold water stimulates your circulation and enhances blood flow. Walking along our external foot reflexology path "Via Sensus" is also stimulating, as the differently shaped ceramic stones stimulate the numerous zones of your body and feet.

Almost untypical for Berlin, you will not find a crowded spa area here, because we attach great importance to discretion, privacy and tranquility.

However, all these great possibilities would be worth nothing without our experienced team of spa therapists who will tickle the maximum feeling of relaxation out of you and pamper you with beneficial massages and cosmetic treatments. That is why we would like to introduce them to you here:

Ronny, for example, is a master in two very contrary massages - on the one hand, these are powerful sports and pressure point massages and on the other hand, the gentler Lomi Lomi Nui massage, which will make you feel transported to the beach of Hawaii. Functional training is also one of his specialties.

Olga is a true multi-talent, as she offers you not only various cosmetic treatments, mani- and pedicure, but also pleasant massages with basalt stones and herbal stamps. Olga's favourite treatment is called "Effective Back", because here she uses a variety of applications (hot roll, oil, cupping technique & singing bowls).

Sammy will introduce you to the traditional treatments of his home country India in an authentic way, as he is particularly skilled in Ayurvedic massages. His broad repertoire also includes Yoga and Thai-Yoga massages. The latter are practiced in sportswear on the floor and are especially good for people who spend a lot of time sitting at their desk and therefore suffer from shortened muscles.

The best of everything

In order for you to enjoy the best of service and ambience to the full, we have also relaunched our day spa programs.

If you only need a short break during the week, you can simply book a 2-hour stay to get to know our sauna area with Kneipp offer, fitness area and lounge. Our bestseller, however, is the 4-hour Day Spa, which not only gives you access to our ONO Spa, but also a 25-minute treatment tailored to your needs. In addition, our team has a so-called Bentobox with Power Foods ready for you. If you bring more time with you, you can also spend a day at our ONO Spa in Berlin as part of an 8-hour Day Spa. This includes a 50-minute treatment and a 2-course menu in the QIU Bar & Restaurant of our hotel. A feel-good package consisting of towels, bathrobe, slippers, body lotion and shower cap is included with all Day Spa packages, so there are no hidden costs. In addition, you can park free of charge in the underground car park for the duration of the 4- or 8-hour Day Spa, which will take you directly to our spa reception by lift.

If you have become a fan after a 2-hour stay and as a result of this you become a member of our ONO Spa, you will be credited the price of the 2-hour Day Spa. For our memberships you can choose between the Basic & Deluxe model with different durations. With the Basic Membership you can use the entire ONO Spa from Monday to Friday and receive a welcome gift from the Team Dr. Joseph brand worth up to 140,00€. Also included is a 10% discount in our QIU Bar & Restaurant, on all spa products and on treatments at certain times, as well as free use of towels, bathrobe etc. For a Deluxe Membership, the access period is extended to Monday to Sunday and in addition to the included services of a Basic Membership, with the Deluxe Membership you receive a credit for various spa treatments as well as 1 to 4 vouchers for a 2-hour Day Spa as a gift. If you take out a 12-month Basic or Deluxe Membership, you will also receive an additional month as a gift.

Give away pampering time

Wellness vouchers as a gift idea for various occasions such as birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day or Christmas are always very popular, as unfortunately one rarely allows oneself to relax. You can also purchase value vouchers or day spa vouchers for our ONO Spa. You can either print out the voucher yourself at home or we can send you a nicely wrapped voucher by post.
